Today, Friday 6th March, our Ladies’ Football Team took part in the annual Indoor Girls 5 aside tournament in Ballyholland Community Centre. With some excellent displays of attacking, defending and teamwork, our girls managed to win 4 out of their 5 games, beating Drumgreenagh, Barr, Ballyholland and Annaclone along the way and narrowly losing out to a very talented St. Joseph’s Convent, Newry side. We finished with 8 points from a possible 10, as did Ballyholland and St. Josephs – unfortunately the girls did not qualify for the County Finals through score difference. We are all extremely proud of our very committed and talented team! Onwards and upwards girls!!!! (Mr. Donnan)
