Microbit Workshops at St. Mary's PS
19th Jan 2023
P5/6/7 had the opportunity today to learn how to use the Microbit from Niall (Amma Centre) The Microbit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces pupils to how software and hardware work together. The Microbit can be programmed to do a number of things eg Make a beating heart, make a flashing name badge etc and encourages pupils to use coding and programming skills. To programme a Microbit the pupils connect it to their iPad and add lines of code to create the device they want. More ideas can be found at www.microbit.co.uk
Thank you to Mr. Donnan for organising
