New LEGO Education 'SPIKE Essential' and 'STEAM Park' kits have arrived in school!
EYFS/KS1:The STEAM Park kit builds on every child’s natural curiosity and desire to explore and investigate the world of early science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM) through creative play. The possibilities are endless as children construct a STEAM Park full of dynamic moving rides, fun games and scenes!
KS2: LEGO Education SPIKE Essential kits will get key stage 2 students excited about hands-on STEAM learning. This playful, narrative-based learning experience encourages students to investigate STEAM concepts while contributing to literacy, math, and social-emotional development. Pupils will use the accompanying app to develop computational thinking and coding skills, including creating and modifying sequences, testing, debugging, and using loops.
We were able to purchase these wonderful kits using funding secured through the Edina Trust Science Grant.
