A huge thank you to our Online Safety Officers, Tamera, Aoife and Caitlin, who led a very informative assembly reminding St. Mary's pupils how to remain safe online. The girls spoke about keeping personal information private, using safe nicknames online, only communicating with people they know in real life, asking adults before downloading or watching something new and telling a safe adult if something makes you uncomfortable online. Aoife compared 'personal information' to a 'favourite toy or teddy' - you wouldn't let just anyone have it!! SO if Santa brings any technology or gaming presents next week St. Mary's boys and girls will certainly be safe!! Merry Christmas from our Online Safety Team!!!
