P.6 visit RADAR centre in Belfast
P. 6 travelled to RADAR (Risk Avoidance and Danger Awareness Resource) on Thursday 23rd March. RADAR is Northern Ireland’s first and only, life sized interactive safety and life skills education centre. Located in Sydenham Harbour Estate, the centre has a full sized street scene with a house, bus, train, fire station, courtroom, prison cell, boat and much more. In the pictures the children can be seen learning about road safety, house safety, bus safety, water safety and what happens when one engages in antisocial behaviour. Can you spot Rachel and Olivier with handcuffs on? This trip was funded by Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Council – many thanks for a super trip!
