The sun shone brightly and P7 were amazing! It was a fun, emotional and uplifting Assembly! Sadly Niamh and Aoibhinn were unable to attend in person but joined virtually - it was so nice to know they didn't miss out. It was lovely to see the P7 pupils showing their talents and having the confidence to share their thoughts.
It was also the day we said Thank you to Mrs. Paula Mackle who is retiring on Wednesday. Mrs. Mackle has taught at St. Mary's PS for 31 years - in that time she has inspired and motivated many young people. The parents, staff (past and present)and children showed their regard for Mrs. Mackle by presenting her with flowers, Gift Vouchers, cards and a bottle of bubbly! Past pupils sent messages of Good Luck to Mrs. Mackle. She will be greatly missed but we wish her every happiness in the future!
