Pictured are Sally’s Tuesday Crochet Class presenting a cheque to John Jardine from Southern Area Hospice Services. The ladies raised £210 from donations given each week from September to December. The Tuesday Crochet Class has been running for the last couple of years in St.Mary’s and is open to all members of the community. It is funded through Extended Schools and through Sally’s teaching has produced many crochet experts!
Mr. Jardine said, ” On behalf of Southern Area Hospice Services, thank you for a very generous donation; the Hospice will be very glad to receive this.” He added, ” I would have liked to have stayed a little longer to learn the trade!”
