St. Patrick's College, Banbridge, Football Blitz.
18 of our p6 and P7 pupils got the opportunity to play in a football blitz organised by St. Patrick's College, Banbridge this morning. The college's GAA Academy hosted the games and the students from St. Patrick's were involved in refereeing the game and overseeing the fixtures. St. Mary's were able to send 2 teams this morning so everybody involved got the same amount of playing time.
St. Mary's had matches against St. Francis' Aghaderg, St. Patrick's Drumgreenagh, St. Colman's Annaclone and St. Mary's Banbridge. The pupils also had the chance to have a go at handball in the gym in St. Patrick's. A brilliant morning was had by all. Well done P6 and P7.
